Glass Slurry “Tie Dye” Dish

Three colorful glass trays with swirled patterns, black and white on the left, blue and green in the center, orange and purple on the right, placed on a white surface.

A fun, beginner-friendly fused glass project!

Ages 7-Adult

You’ll  mix crushed glass powder “frit” combined with water to create colorful “slurries”.  Using tools to place and move the slurries around on a clear glass base will result in a “tie dye” effect.

You’ll make a small soap dish and a large soap dish.

I will fire your dishes in my kiln to fuse the glass together, and again to “slump” them into the molds.

Your piece will be ready for pick up 7-10 days after class. You can pick up your art or I can ship it to you for a small fee.

No experience is necessary. Each class can accommodate up to 6 students.

$50 per student.  Class is approximately 2 hours.
